Alex Hage

Alex was introduced to the restaurant industry at the age of 18, when he left his home country of Lebanon to assist his uncle with the operation of a successful Jazz Bistro in Gambia, West Africa.  It was there he discovered his skills and passion for the hospitality industry. In 2001 he traveled to Michigan to attend Oakland College. While attending school he learned the importance of building a strong business foundation in order to become successful in the hospitality industry.

In 2006 Alex visited Boston and immediately fell in love with its diverse culture. Shortly after his visit he quickly made Boston his home. In 2007 Alex joined the Columbus Hospitality Group as the Beverage Manager for L’Andana. It was here he continued to build his skills in product knowledge and hospitality. CHG recognized Alex’s potential and offered him the position of General Manager of Teatro in 2008. Because of Alex’s growth and success at Teatro, in 2009 he became the General Manager of L’Andana.

Alex understood the importance of continuing his education and in 2010 received a Master Certificate in Hospitality Management from Cornell University. As the General Manager of L’Andana he continues to understand the importance of building long term relationships and providing a consistent dining experience for his guests.
